A compassionate, safe space to understand unhelpful patterns and move forward
I work online with clients across the UK, including High Wycombe and surrounding areas.

Helping you step out of unhelpful cycles and feel more in control
Are you feeling stuck in patterns of anxiety, overthinking, or OCD that are hard to break?
You might find yourself constantly questioning things - going over situations in your mind, seeking reassurance, or trying to feel certain about something that never quite settles. Perhaps you’re dealing with intrusive thoughts that feel distressing or out of character, alongside a strong urge to do something to reduce the anxiety or prevent something bad from happening.
This can be exhausting. Even when you can see the pattern, it can feel incredibly difficult to step out of it.
You might also notice this affecting other areas of your life - your confidence, relationships, or ability to feel present and at ease. You may be hard on yourself, wondering why you can’t just “let it go,” or feeling stuck between what you logically know and what you emotionally feel.
I work with people to understand what’s keeping these cycles going and to gently begin breaking them. Together, we focus on helping you respond differently to your thoughts and feelings, so they have less impact on your life - and you can start moving towards what matters to you.
You won’t be pushed into anything - we’ll go at a pace that feels manageable.
Does this sound like you?
- Intrusive thoughts that feel distressing, unwanted, or not like you
- Overthinking, analysing, or trying to “figure it out” constantly
- Reassurance-seeking (from others or internally) or repeated checking
- Feeling responsible for preventing harm or “getting things right”
- Following certain routines, rituals, or self-imposed rules to reduce anxiety or feel safe
- A sense of being stuck in cycles you can see but can’t quite break out of

How I can help
I'm Katie Moger, a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and IFS Level 1 trained therapist offering online therapy across the UK, with experience working in NHS Talking Therapies.
I work with people experiencing anxiety, OCD, low self-esteem, stress, trauma-related difficulties, and depression.
My approach is grounded in evidence-based CBT while also drawing on Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This allows us to understand not only the patterns that keep difficulties going, but also to develop a more compassionate relationship with the thoughts, emotions, and parts of yourself that may be struggling.
Together, we'll:
• Understand what's contributing to your difficulties
• Identify patterns such as worry, rumination, avoidance, self-criticism, or compulsive behaviours
• Develop practical strategies for change
• Build greater self-understanding, confidence, and a more balanced relationship with difficult thoughts and feelings
The aim isn't to eliminate difficult thoughts or feelings, but to help them have less impact on your life and create space for the things that matter most to you.
I work in a way that is:
• Collaborative – making sense of things together
• Structured – helping you see progress
• Compassionate – without judgement or pressure
